‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ Actress Dakota Johnson Still Wants To Be A Regular Girl Who Washes The Dishes Despite Having A Big Role

After successfully bagging the much coveted role of Anastasia Steele in the film adaptation of 'Fifty Shades of Grey', Dakota Johnson is still hoping that things will remain normal.

Melanie Griffith, Johnson's mother, talked about her daughter's request: "I mean it's all very - the only thing she said was, 'Please just make me do the dishes when I go home. I want everything to stay really normal.I mean, she's really got her head on her shoulders. It's really nice."

The bestselling trilogy, which revolves around troubled business magnate Christian Grey and his naive "sex slave" Anastasia Steele,  is filled with erotic scenes but does it intimidate the 24-year-old actress?

"She is not the type to get scared. She has never been that way. When she was two she was not scared. So, she knows what she's doing and she's really clear and really happy and it's just - it's a joy to see her," added Johnson's mom.

FOX producer Dana Fox believes that fans should never underestimate the '21 Jump Street' actress because she has the acting capability to portray the challenging role: "She used to do physical comedy stuff for us that was like Lucille Ball.I try not to fall into writing scenes where gorgeous girls have to trip and fall so they'll be likable - but she had that thing, so we'd use it."

Film executives are still looking for a new male actor that can be paired with Johnson. The search started after Charlie Hunnam backed out of the project due to conflicts in his schedule.
