Everyone dreams about being a star someday due to the person having a unique talent. If you want to be a star, go for it because it might just lead you to success.

So with this being said, it is that time again when talented people show their skills as well as talent as Kollaboration once again holds auditions by looking for people like you who has a talent when it comes to music entertainment. The state in-which this will take place is in Los Angeles at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on November 16, 2013 and they need us and everyone else to choose the finalists for them!!!

Let me tell you what Kollaboration Star is in-case you do not know and why this is such an important event.

What is Kollaboration Star:

Kollaboration is an Asian Pacific Islander American and Canadian (APIA/C) non-profit organization that dedicates to promote positive as well as accurate perceptions for the APIA/C. This not only provides a stepping-stone for young artists to show their talents; it also supports the APIA/C community as well.

Kollaboration was founded in 2000 by Paul PK Kim which began with a single show in Los Angeles. After that year, it has expanded to thirteen other cities which are all united under the mission statement for Kollaboration which is "Empowerment through Entertainment."

Open Online Voting Begins:

So now you know what this organization is and how it was founded. Now for this year, the organization will initiate an open online voting for the selection of its finalists which begins on October 15, 2013 (Tuesday) at 12 AM (PDT) on its official Facebook page.

The system will remain open for three days after the start date and will close it on Thursday at 11:59 PDT. When the system opens, the public will be able to vote for their favorite competitors from the winners for the local Kollaboration talent competitions which will take place in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Toronto, San Francisco, Houston, Seattle, Atlanta, Washington DC, Boston, East Lansing, Dallas, and finally Honolulu.

 So for the thirteen city representatives, the five contestants with the highest number of votes will move on as finalists. For the sixth finalist, the person will be selected as the wild card by Kollaboration.

Finalists:

After the finalists are selected, they will be then flown out to Los Angeles to compete in the finale show which will be on November 16th!!! Grand prize will be $20,000 as well as share the stage with some of the most prominent names in the Asian American entertainment which are Yoon Mi Rae, Bizzy, Drunken Tiger, Mike Song, David So, Paul PK Kim, and KRNFX which all display a numerous array of talents.

Roster:

The roster includes internationally recognized poetry slam champions as well as soulful bands from well-known colleges such as UC Berkley as well as the University of Washington. This are musical acts that have established a name for themselves in their local music scenes as well as getting attention in South Korea by auditioning on the MBC Star Audition.
