LG G Flex vs Samsung Galaxy Round - yes, the battle between smartphones with curved screen will commence with these two new devices.

LG G Flex is also set to arrive in the market, after Samsung unveils its curved display smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy round.  According to Telegraph, LG G Flex is believed to be launched by its Korean manufacturer, next month.

LG G Flex vs Samsung Galaxy Round: Specs

According to reports, LG G Flex will have specs such as 6-inch OLED Full HD display. Its processor could be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 and it is rumored to have 2 GB of RAM.

Meanwhile, its rival, the Samsung Galaxy Round is believed to feature a 4.7-inch screen inch with 1280 x 720 pixels. The upcoming device will be packed with processor similar to that of the LG G Flex, and also, 2 GB RAM.

Moreover, LG G Flex and Samsung Galaxy Round are rumored to arrive with same operating system, either the Android Jelly Bean or the upcoming Android 4.4 KitKat.

LG G Flex vs Samsung Galaxy Round: Body

As posted on Engadget, the body of the LG G Flex will be different to the Samsung Galaxy Round. The 6-inch LG G Flex curves from top to bottom, while that Samsung Galaxy Round bends from left to right, as it curves on the horizontal axis

Furthermore, as posted on Inquisitr, "As with the Galaxy Round, the G Flex won't really be flexible, despite what its name implies. Instead, it will simply be curved."

LG and Samsung have both developed and released their own televisions that feature curved OLED (organic light-emitting diode) displays, which are bendable since they are made of plastic and not glass. Furthermore, according to the prediction of research firm, IHS Display, the global flexible display industry will grow significantly in the future. By 2016, it is predicted that this industry will be $1.5 billion market already, and by 2019, it will already exceed $10 billion.
