GTA 5 PC Release Date News: 2014 Launch Includes Gameplay Loss Solutions? PC Title Update Fixes Bugs In Original Game

Rockstar Games will release a PC version of Grand Theft Auto 5 in the beginning of 2014, multiple rumors have reported, and will include fixes to gameplay loss that gamers have been experiencing.

"This title update will resolve the cause of players losing their gameplay progress except for some specific instances where players purchase a vehicle and the save does not occur due to a cloud save failure," Rockstar Games said in a statement, according to The Guardian.

"A fix for that particular issue is being worked on and we will provide an update as soon as we know when this will be resolved."

CinemaBlend.com released a poll that asked gamers which console they would want to see Grand Theft Auto 5 made for and PS4 won with 491 votes while the Xbox One lost with 199 votes.

While a possible PC version of the game was not included in the poll, the website mentioned the growing attention computer gaming activists are getting for wanting Rockstar Games to make a version just for them.

An online petition that advocates for the release of a computer version of Grand Theft Auto 5 has surpassed the 600,000 signature mark, leaving many gamers around the world wondering if Rockstar Games will release it.

Michael Julliard of Toronto, Canada began the petition 11 months ago.

Pirates released a fake online version of Grand Theft Auto 5 stuffed with a Trojan virus that stole data and hacked the computers of thousands of gamers around the world last month.

If the user who downloaded the torrent attempts to install the game, they'll be presented with a survey and asked to send a text message to get a working serial key, which never comes - after the text message is sent, the owner of the infected device is then charged one euro per day, International Business Times reports.
