Kim Kardashian RIng sells at auction today for a whopping 749K at CHristies Auction. The ring as given to Kim by Kris Humphries, her ex husband that she was married to for a measley 72 days. Should Kim have given the ring back to Kris Humphries?

The Kim Kardashian 16.21 carat diamond ring designed by Lorraine Schwartz was origanally bought by Kris for 2 million dollars. Two buyers, one on the phone and one online, faught over the ring in the back of the room at Christies auction. The buyer on the phone eventually won the auction.

The ring was expected to sell for 300K-500K but sold for 620K and a total of 749K after auction fees. It is unknown who bought the ring, but maybe it was secretly one of Kris Humphries people! Kris wanted the ring back but his prenuptual agreement with Kim Kardashian said that Kim would get the ring if the pair broke up. And after just 72 days of marriage, break up they did.

Kardashian and Humphries got engaged in May 2011, married that August and by October 2011, she had filed for divorce.  Kim has since moved on with Kanye West adn they have a baby girl together named North West.
