‘Man of Steel 2, Batman Vs Superman’ Films College Football Game; Female Lead Role Is Down To Four Contenders

The "Man of Steel" sequel (working title: Batman vs Superman) is confirmed to shoot a football game in the East Los Angeles College Campus. In related news, there are four contenders for the female lead role. What that role is, is not yet confirmed.

The football game details from Slashfilm: "The East Los Angeles College Campus News is reporting production of the 2015 superhero film starring Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck will take place October 19 at halftime of a college football game between ELAC and Victor Valley College. The stadium will be transformed to Gotham City University for a game between GCU and Metropolis State University. Snyder and the production are hoping to get "three takes of three plays during halftime. The crew will be capturing the actors and crowd's reactions." The first 2,000 fans to sit in the "filming area" will get t-shirts designed specifically for the film."

It is unlikely that any of the lead stars will grace the shoot. The scene is more of a background, perhaps for the meeting of Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne (maybe Clark Kent is a sportswriter this time around).

In other news, Latino Review, a site that has been an expert in rumor sleuthing (with remarkable accuracy) has mentioned that Warner Bros. has narrowed down the "female lead role" to four contenders.

Which female lead role? If Amy Adams is Lois Lane, then it should be Batman-related, perhaps the love interest that director Zach Snyder has hinted. Or it could be Wonder Woman, as Warner CEO Kevin Tsujihara has publicly pushed.

The names of the contenders are also up in the air as of this time. The speculation game is on!

The only thing that is certain for the movie (aside from the lead characters casting) is its release date: July 17, 2015.
