Miley Cyrus: Wrecking Ball Meaning May Be About Her Fans And VMA Performance, Not Liam Hemsworth As Most Report

Many are speculating on Miley Cyrus and "Wrecking Ball" meaning.

Cyrus is seen crying in the music video of her new single 'Wrecking Ball'. Fans and entertainment blogs all speculated on the meaning of Wrecking Ball and what the former Disney star was thinking to make herself cry while filming.

There were a lot of talks that her ex-fiance Liam Hemsworth was the reason the star looked so sad in the music video as well as during her live performances of the song.

"Wrecking Ball" is the second song released by the singer from her album "Bangerz". The song and its video can be interpreted in different ways and the Internet's gossip bloggers are giving their own theories.

She is seen crying in the raunchy music video. The skinny singer is also displayed smashing walls and other objects with a massive sledgehammer. Cyrus is half-naked in the video and does suggestive actions on the sledgehammer with her tongue.

The speculations online about the meaning of the lyrics and the controversial video range from fans thinking it is about her break-up with Hemsworth whom she dated for two years.

Forums on music sites as well as Miley Cyrus fan sites show many former fans believe the song is about her fans and the much talked about VMA performance with Robin Thicke. These fans believe that after all the criticisms the singer and actress received, what hurt the most were comments from ex-fans saying they no longer consider Cyrus worthy of their patronage and attention.

Just like the reaction of Will Smith and his family during Cyrus'' VMA performance, plenty of former Hannah Montana fans were quick to show their repulsion towards the young celebrity.

One of these ex-fans on the Miley Cyrus forum site mifans.mileycyrus.com even went on to say, "I wish she would just disappear. She is now too desperate and I regret ever watching her show and listening to her crap music. I will burn all the Miley Cyrus fan items I bought!"

With verses like the following in "Wrecking Ball", it's easy to speculate Cyrus could be talking about the love some of her fans lost for her:

I never meant to start a war
I just wanted you to let me in
And instead of using force
I guess I should've let you win
