Daniel Radcliffe owes his global fame to his role as young wizard Harry Potter in the on-screen adaptations of J.K. Rowlings books. Although the magical world of "The Boy Who Lived" has already ended, fans and readers still followed Radcliffe's ventures as an actor.

The 24-year-old actor has taken more serious role that entailed him to look and act maturely. In 'Horns', 'The F Word', and 'Kill Your Darlings', the actor was required to shed his clothes.  Since he has taken daring roles, fans believe that he should be a strong contender for the role of Christian Grey in the '50 Shades of Grey' film adaptation.

Charlie Hunnam backed out from the role prompting the production team to look for another actor that can take over. Apart from having the availability, the chosen actor will likewise need to be comfortable in doing sexual scenes that came straight from the book.

The trilogy revolves around the life of wealthy businessman Christian Grey whose troubled past makes him hungry for a sexual relationship that borders on sadism. Grey eventually meets Anastasia Steele, an innocent college girl who he tries to lure into his secret world. Steele's character will be played by Dakota Johnson.

Readers of the novel have several bets when it comes to actors who they think can give justice to the character of Grey. Some of these bets include Matt Bomer, Henry Cavill, Ryan Gosling, Ian Somerhalder, and Alexander Skarsgard.
