Top Android Phones 2013: Sony Xperia Z1 Arrives In The US, Xperia Z Ultra, Sony Smartwatch 2 Also Hits Stores

A few days ago, Sony CEO Kazuo Hirai mentioned in a press event that the company is looking to focus on its strengths which are the European and Japanese market. Earlier this year, the manufacturer's previous flagship, the Xperia Z hit US stores more than three months after launch. That is why we're pretty surprised one of the top Android phones in 2013, the Xperia Z1, the Xperia Z Ultra, and the new generation Sony Smartwatch 2 made its way in the US only a month after they were announced.

But we're definitely not complaining.

All three devices are now available for pre-order on Sony's website. Buyers can get the phablet at $649.99, though this one does not support LTE. Meanwhile, the 6.4-inch Xperia Z Ultra LTE version will retail unlocked at $679.99.

For gadget lovers who want to get their hands on the new Sony Smartwatch 2, you can get it at $199.99.

The Xperia Z1 and Xperia Z Ultra are undeniably two of the most advanced Android devices to date, and Americans are surely grateful that both have hit the US market in such a short period of time.
