We're trying to get to the starting pitcher, get some runs on the board and get to the bullpen."
Before Wednesday's game 4, Detroit manager Jim Leyland made a drastic change in the batting lineup. He moved Tori Hunter to the leadoff position and batted the Triple Crown winner and last season's AL MVP Miguel Cabrera in the two-hole. The struggling Austin Jackson was moved from leadoff to the eighth hitter in the lineup. It worked for one game, at least and it will be the same lineup for game 5 Wednesday.
"I really think you have to," Leyland told MLB.com. "You have seen good pitching. It's not that easy. If you look at all the series, I think it's remarkable. If you looked at some of the batting averages from all the teams involved in the playoffs, and I'm including the National League, it's pretty shocking sometimes. It's just not that easy. It's hard. But I will go with this lineup tomorrow for sure."
