Zac Efron On His Addiction Episode: ‘My Family Is My Rock!’ Relates ‘Sock Slip’ Incident In ‘That Awkward Moment’

Zac Efron was one of the hottest young actors in Hollywood a few years ago. However, he succumbed to alcohol and was also rumored to have cocaine addiction.

The former "High School Musical" star confesses that he hung out with the wrong type of friends. In the Question and Answer session for his new film "That Awkward Moment" which he also produced, he thanks the people who never stopped caring and believing:

"My family is my rock. I know they're not going anywhere."

He then hints at a reversal of roles between him and his younger brother Dylan: "More and more I come to rely on my little brother to keep me grounded."

On the qualities of a romantic partner,  Zac describes "creative and smart," self-confident and a person with "a nice smile. That's a good thing to have,"

But, the actor won't be looking for love on Facebook. He admitted he doesn't use the social networking service."I haven't really used Facebook before. I think I've been around friends when they're looking at pictures or something like that on Facebook. I couldn't even log on right now if I had to."(quotes from Access Hollywood)

The actor revealed the he has left a  'bad group of friends' who are said to have led him astray, insisting he's back under the wing of more 'reliable' chums.

"I know my family's always going to be there, and then there's also some times when life changes, they can't always be there for you in the way that you need. So I rely on my friends."

The promo pictures for "That Awkward Moment" show him lying naked, face down on a toilet bowl. His butt is visible in that photo, but Zac reveals there was more on the set:  'For sure getting naked on the toilet ... There was, like, a sock thing and it fell off. You just have to cup your hands!' (quotes from Metro)

The "Sock Slip" is definitely "That Awkward Moment" for Zac. The movie opens on January 31, 2014.
