IPad 5 Rumors: New Photos Leaked, Features To Include ID Fingerprint Scanner

It’s that time of the year when Apple fans gather around their computers or gadgets, in front of Twitter where everyone search leaked information about the upcoming releases from Apple. Today, it’s all about iPad 5 rumors.

The much anticipated tablet is expected to have a number of improvements compared to its predecessor.

A lighter and thinner width is to be expected on the new iPad. The upcoming tablet is reported to be 1.5 cm thinner than the old one.

One of the biggest rumors on this fifth-generation tablet is the faster processor. A 64-bit A7 processor is expected to be installed. Apple already mounted this powerful A7 processor on the recently released iPhone 5S which is why it is expected on the new tablet.

Just like the new generation of iPhones, the colors are also expected to be on the new iPad. The sleek and stylish color silver seen on the older generation is expected to be seen on the iPad 5, alongside a rumored gold color for the back cover.

Among others, the newest physical feature seen on the iPhone is the touch ID fingerprint scanner is also expected to be installed on the new Apple release. This fingerprint scanner is a sensor integrated on the home button of the device. Just like on the 5S, this scanner can be used in unlocking the phone and also for approving purchases in-apps, the Apple Store, iTunes Store and iBooks Store.

Alongside the new iPad 5 release, a new iPad Mini is rumored to be released as well.

Rumors claim that the release of the new generation of Apple tablets will be on the latter part of October which will be anytime from today. Along with these releases, an alleged iOS 7.1 update is also expected to be out but no details about the update are out yet.
