Three months after the death of her boyfriend Cory Monteith, Lea Michele has found a new love. Michele is so blissful that she immediately shared the news to her Twitter followers.

"Today I would like to introduce you to Pearl. She's 8 years old and is my new little love.. Welcome Pearl!" Michele eagerly posted.

Pearl is the newly adopted dog of the 'Glee' actress. While she did not say what breed of dog Pearl is, her followers assumed that she's a Pomeranian based on her brown fur and small fox-like face.

Michele's fur baby also seems to be aware that her owner is a celebrity because Pearl already knows how to pose like a pro.

Monteith's girlfriend is known for her animal-loving character. She supports animal rights campaigns of the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) specifically the "Buck Cruelty! Say No to Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides". She has also previously expressed her disdain for wearing fur.

In September 2010, she has been acknowledged by PETA for her contributions to help and protect animals. Pearl is the newest addition to her growing fur family which includes cats named Sheila and Claude.

"I found her on the Paramount lot under a bush with her brothers and sisters. Her brother is with Heather Morris now who plays Britney on my show, and so they all found homes," she told Ellen Degeneres when asked where she found Shiela as well as her sibling Claude.

Fans of the actress are hoping that the pooch will continuously cheer Michele and remind her that despite Monteith's abrupt death, life will still go on.
