After being tagged as the next Mariah Carey, another famous singer has praised the 'Almost Is Never Enough' singer. For Katy Perry, Ariana Grande is the "Best Voice in Pop".

Grande sold over a million copies for her debut album 'Yours Truly' which immediately captured the attention of the 'Roar' hit maker. In an interview with MTV News, John Mayer's girlfriend praised Grande for her vocal talent: "I love her. I think she has the best female vocal in pop music today. She has literally the best voice, the best voice live. She kills it. She's so good."

More than having a unique talent voice, the ex-wife of Rusell Brand commended the girlfriend of Nathan Sykes for her sweet persona: "I got to hang out with her and listen to her record before it came out because I wanted to reach out to her and be like, 'Hey girl, you're just about to go through a whirlwind. Let me give you some tips if you ever need anything - a hairstylist, makeup artist, whatever and she's the sweetest girl and I just wish her the best."

Grande did not remain oblivious to Perry's touching message, that's why she immediately tweeted a message of gratefulness.
