Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge gave birth three months ago to Prince George, and she's largely stayed out of the public eye. However, she went out for her first solo engagement post-baby...and she shows no signs of having had a baby at all.

Kate came out to Sportsaid, a charity, and decided to play a round of volleyball...while wearing wedges.

"People were really impressed how she could come out so soon for an event like this, so soon after having her baby," one Sportsaid official said.

Kate played volleyball in wedge heels, and mingled and chatted with young athletes, from badminton players to para-athletes.

"She's a good listener and wanted to hear everything from the young people," said Simon Worsfold, spokesman for the charity, which Kate is now sponsoring.

Then Kate Middleton played, and by all reports, she was incredibly agile and athletic. She played the striker position-and looked striking.

There was an accidental midriff reveal, but she hit shot after shot.

Oh, and the roayal midriff? Totally flat. Nary a sign it housed a prince.

"She was playing in heels. Whoever plays in heels is amazing," 16-year-old volleyball player Grace Lazard told the Press Association about the Duchess of Cambridge's appearance.

"Everyone kept talking about how great she looked, and even though she was wearing heels, played volleyball. There was no sign she had even stopped doing royal duties because of her pregnancy and the birth And the way she dressed, casual in jeans, which she thought was appropriate for the occasion," ABC's royal consultant Victoria Murphy commented.

The consensus is that Kate hasn't lost her stride-even while wearing heels.
