Lenovo Yoga Tablet: 8-Inch and 10-Inch Version Released With Three Modes – Hold, Stand And Tilt; Ashton Kutcher Hired As Newest Product Engineer

New sets of Android slates have been revealed in the form of Lenovo Yoga Tablet.

The Chinese multinational tech company is making a scene at the competitive world of tablet market as it introduced two models of Lenovo Yoga Tablet.

Reportedly, tech fans can choose from either the Lenovo Yoga Tablet with 8-inch screen or the 10-inch screen. Both the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8 and Yoga Tablet 10 are running Android Jelly Bean. As for the pricing, USA Today reported that the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8 is available for $249 and it weighs .88 pounds. On the other hand, Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10, with a mass of 1.33 pound comes with a price tag worth $299.

For the memory storage, units with 16 GB and 32 GB are available for each model, but they can be expanded through the use of microSD. The primary camera of Lenovo Yoga Tablet has 5 MP sensor while the front-facing one has 1.6 MP.

Lenovo Yoga Tablet, aimed to compete against Nexus slate models, have an even powerful battery, as the company claims it can last up to 18 hours when reading.

Moreover, another interesting aspect that tech enthusiasts will experience with Lenovo Yoga Tablet is its multi-mode feature. There are three modes, actually. Firstly, the Hold mode, which is basically for holding the tablet. As posted on ZDnet, "Surprisingly, the tablets are comfortably balanced when holding either the grip or the other side."

Secondly,there is Stand, which is used when propping the device while watching a video. And lastly, the Tilt model, which is the best way to enter data with fingers. Lenovo Yoga Tablet comes with a kickstand located on the rear area of the slate.

As for more Lenovo news, the company has just hired a Hollywood actor to be their newest product engineer and celebrity pitchman, who is no other than Ashton Kutcher.

On a different post on USA Today, Kutcher told during a phone interview that "it's somewhat of a dual role." He also said, "Lenovo makes really, really, really good hardware," he said. "I hope to make their products as consumer friendly as possible."

Ashton Kutcher took up biochemical engineering at the University of Iowa, though he didn't graduate. However, he has a solid record when it comes to tech investments, and he intends to provide advice on design and software for the Lenovo Yoga Tablets.
