Saturday and Sunday marked San Jose's first of 10 back-to-back sets this season, and it beat Montreal 2-0 before five different players scored in a 5-2 win over Ottawa. Watch the free live stream as they actually had a few days off before this divisional matchup.

"We didn't play our best, but we got the win on the road," Logan Couture, who scored twice against the Canadiens and assisted on Tommy Wingels' goal the next night, told NHL.com. "We could have had eight points this road trip very easily, but it's good to get six of eight (so far)."

Even with Jonathan Quick in net for the Kings, they've only scored three more goals than they've allowed this season. San Jose has scored 28 more goals than it has allowed.

The Sharks are about to play their fifth road game in a row, before starting a three-game homestand Friday.

"It's taxing," Kings coach Todd McLellan told NHL.com. "Until you've experienced it once during the year, you forget what it's like. We passed that test and we're going to need to pass it nine more times (in back-to-back sets).

Veteran Jarrod Stoll scored his first goal of the season last night and could be a sign of good things to come.

"I think, from a personal standpoint, it's nice to see Stolly get a goal," Kings captain Dustin Brown said. "Sometimes it's just getting that one, whether it turns out to be a power-play goal late in a 3-0 game, but that might be enough to spark him and get some secondary scoring going for this team."
