Though there is no clear and specific Android 4.4 KitKat release date announced yet, rumors are rife that the latest Google mobile OS is already on the horizon.

A number of reports online suggest that Android 4.4 Kit release date may coincide with the unveiling of other upcoming Google products. Particularly, Android 4.4 KitKat release date will most likely be similar to launch schedule of the next-generation smartphone, the Nexus 5, as well as the 2^nd iteration of Google's full-sized tablet, which is unofficially dubbed right now as Nexus 10 2.

Initial Android 4.4 KitKat release date rumors indicated that the device may arrive mid-October, but since, it did not pan out, fresher speculations suggest that the internet giant will release in by the end of the month, or early November. However, today is the final day of October, and  so far, the internet giant has not provided any hints that they are about to launch new products today, unless they are keeping it as a surprise.

Nevertheless, these reports about potential Android 4.4 KitKat release date remain to be rumors, as Google is yet to confirm or deny them.  However, based on the teasers and other developments, it seems that Android 4.4 KitKat release date is just around the corner.

Yesterday, the official Twitter account for Android 4.4 KitKat posted an image of a passport, which has a KitKat and stamped with October 29, aside from other marks for Android 4.4 and KitKat. According to a post from Gotta Be Mobile, "It's not clear if this is a sign that the Android 4.4 KitKat update finished all stages needed for release yesterday, or if it is just another in a long line of KitKat teasers."

As for another sign that Android 4.4 KitKat release date may already be happening soon and that Google wants to keep the interests of the fans high towards the upcoming operating system, Nestle, the company behind the popular chocolate brand, posted a teaser video which shows a magician stealing a KitKat.
