Nexus 5 Release Date: New Google Phone Finally Official, Comes With Android 4.4 KitKat, Hits Stores Tomorrow Starting At $349

If you have been checking out tech blogs and media sites all over the Web, you may already be fed up with all these rumors about the Nexus 5 release date and specs. As several reports have pointed out, the most-awaited release of Google's next hero phone would indeed be tomorrow, November 1.

Google has just officially announced the Nexus 5. Just as what the rumors said, it boasts a 4.95" display with 1080p resolution, a Snapdragon 800 chipset, a CPU with four Krait 400 cores clocked at 2.3Ghz, and Adreno 330 GPU. 

In addition, the LG-made phone will also feature a 2GB RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.

The LG Nexus 5 encases a 2,300mAh battery which supports wireless charging, an option for 16GB and 32GB, an 8MP rear camera with OIS, and a 2MP front snapper. 

According to the announcement, the 16GB edition of the Nexus 5 will retail at $349/€349 and will be on sale starting tomorrow.
