Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2013: Kimi Raikkonen Had The Worst Weekend Of His Career; Vettel Speeds His Way To His Seventh Straight Win – “I Know What I’m Doing”

Sebastian Vettel and Red Bull Racing smile their way out of a successful one-two win in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2013.

Vettel who started in second pole position following Red Bull teammate Mark Webber dominated the race by being on the first position for almost the entire race sealing his seventh straight win showing everyone why he is the four time F1 champion.

The German driver after being fined for the Indian Grand Prix after ensuring his championship due to him leaving his race car in the track after his victory, said this time he made sure that he didn't break any rules.

"Technically today I don't think I broke any rules because I brought the car home this time and will hopefully be able to provide a fuel sample," the four-time world champion said. "Last week I left the car parked in the middle of the track which, from what I remember, was the main issue."

Vettel was all smiles this weekend during his win while copying what the Finn said in his last year's victory in the same track.

"Let me quote [Raikkonen]: 'Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know what I am doing'," he said on his team radio before parking his racecar.

Kimi on the other hand didn't have any luck the entire weekend after starting in the 22nd place due to a penalty during the qualifying round. The Finnish also ended the race just after the first turn in the first lap after getting hit in the front tire and breaking his track rod.

"It's never easy starting so far back on the grid, but after the penalty it was a better choice to help our chances in the race rather than starting from the pit lane. After a difficult start to the weekend we did well yesterday so it was a shame we couldn't start where we qualified, but these things happen sometimes; it's just back luck," the Ferrari driver for next season said.
