Samsung Flip Phone 2013: New Droid Boasts Snapdragon 800 Processor, 2GB RAM, And 13MP Primary Camera

Earlier this year, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Golden, a flip phone the manufacturer released in Korea. Now another Samsung flip phone 2013 has been announced, this time to target the ever-growing Chinese market.

Dubbed as the W2014, the flip phone is packed with juicy specs which could match today's standard in the high-end level. It features a 2.3Ghz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage with microSD support, a 13-megapixel shooter, a 2MP front camera, a 1,900mAh battery and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box.

Samsung is working with China Telecom to bring the flip phone to the 'Heart of the World' charity concert.

If you have read about the Galaxy Golden, the W2014 also packs two 3.7-inch 800x480 resolution SUPER AMOLED screens on either slide of the front flip.

According to GSM Arena, no exact date of release or pricing has been announced yet. Though the name itself, W2014, suggests that it would come early next year.
