Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Release Date, Rumors: Phablet’s Next Generation Rumored Specs Includes 13MP Camera, Wireless Charging, 64G Expandable Memory

Samsung Galaxy Note 4’s release is a year away and it’s already being rumored that the South Korean tech giant maybe launching the device at the IFA Consumer Show in Berlin on September 2014. Since the tech world is always hungry for speculations and predictions, below are some of the most common rumors about the potentially upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

One of the expected centerpiece updates, like in most handsets is the camera quality of the device. In a report last month, Phone Arena divulged that Samsung is working on a camera sensor that would be eight times better than what it’s current slate of recently launched devices offer. The camera will also have special features like optical image stabilization and anti-shake, the latter capability will make it look like you took a photo or video with a tripod in hand.

It’s speculated that the phablet will have a 13MP camera, at par with camera specs of some of the high-end devices. Although it’s still a far cry from Nokia’s 41MP camera, it is expected that the quality of the Samsung sensor will exceed expectations in terms of resolution and overall quality.

Two weeks ago, TechRadar reported that Samsung could be very serious about wireless charging, citing sources from ET news which says that the South Korean tech giant is looking at a better version of wireless charging technology that uses magnetic resonance.

Magnetic resonance wireless charging means that the device will not come in contact with a “source” object for it to be powered up, explained TechRadar. The charge flow will reach the device as long as its within a certain distance.

The ET News which TechRadar reported indicated that Samsung may have the technology available by mid-2014 and that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 could be the first Samsung device to have the technology.

On the Galaxy Note 4 fan site, it predicts that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will come with advanced multitasking ability and data handling, all of which requires a high storage capacity. For that reason, it speculates that the phablet will have 64GB of expandable memory.
