Jon Gosselin Speaks Up At Oprah Winfrey’s Where Are They Now Show – Denies Cheating With Ex-Wife Kate Gosselin, Claiming That Their Kids Have “Developmental” Problems

Former reality star Jon Gosselin opens up during his interview with Oprah Winfrey on November 3. Jon revealed the damages caused by the hit reality show "Jon and Kate Plus 8" (aired from April 2007 through November 2009) that includes his life with his eight children and ex-wife Kate Gosselin.

"It just became stressful on the kids and stressful on me," Jon explained. "You're trying to keep your marriage together, and you're trying to keep your family ties together."

After 10 years of marriage, eight wonderful kids and a hit reality TV show, Jon and Kate are now divorced taking care of their children in separate households.

"I don't really have a relationship with Kate," the former reality TV star said. "It's more texting, custodial stuff. I wish her the best in all that she does, but [we're] just moving in totally two different directions, just totally not on the same page at all, about anything."

Jon now 36-years old try to make ends meet as a waiter, living in a cabin in rural Pennsylvania. "I don't really know what goes on in Kate's house and she really doesn't know what goes on in my house," he says. "At this point, there is no cooperation. There's nothing. There's two totally different parenting styles and two totally different everythings -- which is a shame because it affects me, but it really affects my children."

"We're super public and now I can't go here anymore because we're filming all the time, and you're trying to keep your marriage together and you're trying to keep your family ties together," Gosselin discloses.

"I saw my kids not growing up normally, like I grew up and having community," Jon explains as how he saw his 13-year old twins Cara and Mady and also his 9-year-old sextuplets Aaden, Alexis, Collin, Hannah, Joel and Leah suffered from the reality TV show.

"Yes they got to travel the world and yes they got these fabulous things and yes they have trust funds and they are taken care of educationally -- great," he confessed. "But developmentally, they have problems with their peers. They had problems with talking to other people. They have problems with wants and needs and manners and morals and what's right and wrong, of course -- I think more so than someone who grows up off TV."

Jon's reputation suffered as well, as rumors easily emerged regarding his indiscretion with his former wife. "The most common misperception [is] that I cheated on my wife, that I left my family, that I'm a party boy," he told Winfrey. "But my family knows the truth."
