Richie Incognito Suspended From Miami Dolphins Following Lunchroom Incident: Punishment Is Not NFL Starting Guard’s First Suspension

Richie Incognito of Miami Dolphins was suspended indefinitely from the team over allegations of racial misconduct and physical threats against teammate Jonathan Martin.

Last week, Jonathan Martin had left the team without notification over the cafeteria incident with the fellow linemen. Martin's representatives contacted the team on Sunday an submitted voice mail evidence and text messages containing racial slurs from Incognito, popularly referred to as the Dirty NFL Player.

One of the messages reportedly contained jibes at his racial background and Incognito's threat to defecate in Martin's mouth.

"Hey, wassup, you half (obscenity) piece of (obscenity). "I saw you on Twitter, you been training 10 weeks. I'll (obscenity) in your (obscenity) mouth. I'm gonna slap your (obscenity) mouth, I'm gonna slap your real mother across the face (laughter). (obscenity) you, you're still a rookie. I'll kill you."

This is not the first time when Richie Incognito is being punished and suspended from team for misdemeanor oh-field and off field. During his time at Nebraska, then coach Frank Solich suspended Richie from team prior to 2004 season over reports of misconduct.

He later joined University of Oregon, but was removed a week later because he failed to meet the code of conduct requirements.

During the 2009 season with the Rams, Incognito got into a heated fight with then coach Steve Spagnuolo after the latter benched him for head butting two Titans players. Following the altercation, Rams waived him two days later with NFL imposing a fine of $50,000 for two personal fouls. He was also warned that disciplinary action would be taken against him, if he did not mend his ways.

In 2012, Richie Incognito was voted the second Dirtiest NFL Player in a fan poll. The consequences of the fresh allegations, if proven, would prove too dire for Incognito's career, as claimed by an insider source at Miami Dolphins.
