While 'Once Upon a Time' lead stars Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas appear to be blissful after announcing their engagement, it isn't the same thing for Jennifer Morrison and Sebastian Stan who similarly play pivotal roles in the fairytale-inspired series.

According to a report released by Us Weekly, Morrison, 34, and Stan, 30, have parted ways nearly four months ago. Nonetheless, the source claims that the two broke up amicably.

Just like Goodwin and Dallas, the two started dating after meeting on the set of 'Once Upon a Time'. Morrison plays the role of Snow White and Prince Charming's daughter, Emma Swan, whereas Stan plays the role of Mad Hatter.

Rather than publicizing their split, the two opted to remain quiet. After all, both of them have maintained a low-key relationship. Some were even surprised that they were dating in the first place.

When it comes to dating, the two seem to be following a trend. Morrison was previously engaged to her 'House' co-star Jesse Spencer while Stan likewise went out with 'Gossip Girl's' resident Queen B, Leighton Meester. Stan had a short stint in the series as Carter Baizen. Apart from Meester, he has been romantically linked as well to 'Glee's' Dianna Agron.

No third party is involved in the breakup. The same source says that the two merely "grew apart" from each other.  As of now, they keep themselves busy with several projects. Stan will be playing a supporting role in 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' slated for release in April 2014 while  Morrison recently appeared in 'Star Trek Into Darkness' as Winona Kirk.
