Pokemon X And Y [RUMOR]: Trademark Discovered Of Pikachu Detective Game, Unofficial Mega Evolution, Evolution, Pre-Evolution Rumor Confirmed To Be Fake!

Pokemon X and Y have been released, and while one rumor seems to be true, another has been confirmed to be fake!

A recent episode of "The Professionals" featuring The Pokemon Company CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara hinted at an upcoming Pokemon detective game.

According to Pokejungle, the new game will be a detective style game, where the Pikachu aids the player on his/her cases! In this new Pokemon game, a rare Pikachu is said to be the enemy within the game. A talking Pikachu that is blue will also be featured.

This blue Pikachu is reportedly controlled by motion capture and facial recognition. Serebii also adds that this new Pokemon game is aimed to be ready for release in two years.

Thanks to the AAPF, a new trademark has been discovered by the name of "Great Detective Pikachu." While many trademarks go unused, this one definitely matches the description based on Ishihara's description.

Meanwhile, another Pokemon X and Y rumor purports that there are more Mega Evolution Pokemon, new evolutions, and even pre-evolutions within X and Y.

Ever since the "Elite Hacker Smealum" uncovered the three legendary Pokemon and Mega Latias and Latios, rumors like the one above have been based on the claim that other parties have hacked Pokemon X and Y as well.

However, according to Pokemon Global News, any rumor that is not from the "Smealum" hack is fake. Although Game Freak adding more Pokemon and Mega Evolutions to the Pokedex later is plausible, this current rumor is likely simply trolls building on the excitement surrounding hacking X and Y.
