Kingdom Hearts 3 Release Date: Playstation 4 Version Answers Cliffhangers? Director Tetsuya Nomura Says New Title Will ‘Wrap Up Story Elements Present Since The First Game’

Kingdom Hearts 3 director Tetsuya Nomura said the new title, which will be available on the Playstation 4, will "wrap up story elements present since the first game," according to Polygon.com.

The battles that the series' characters have been fighting for the past decade will come to a head in the game and that a particular long-fought enemy will meet its demise, Polygon.com also reports.

A recently shown trailer at the D23 Expo in Japan revealed that Kingdom Hearts 3 will use HD revamps on its Playstation 4 version, according to the Latin Times.

The Disney-inspired game will utilize next-generation console support to include more features in the development.

Earlier this month, developer Tetsuya Nomura revealed that Kingdom Hearts 3 will use more brush-like visuals and will infuse more Disney graphics within the gameplay.

"Kingdom Hearts" was first built with the brush-like quality in mind; however the console technology could not yet support it," Nomura told reporters.

"Ever since the first game, we've strived for a Disney-like brush quality in the graphic gradations."

Earlier this week, he gave many gamers hope about the return of Roxas and Ventus for the upcoming title.

Nomura mentioned that was "curious to see what will happen" when asked about the return of the two aforementioned characters.
