Pokemon X and Y have been released for the 3DS, and the anime series is joining the celebration of Generation VI with the episode 5 airing in Japan!

Episode 5 sees Ash arriving in Santalune City and rushing to challenge Gym Leader Viola. After Alexa makes the introductions, Ash tackles Viola's Bug-type Pokemon, which turns out to be a bigger challenge than he expected. Will Ash win?

And now, international fans can not only catch episode 5 on YouTube, but with English subtitles as well!

For the Pokemon X and Y anime, episode 5 is titled "The Hakudan Gym Battle! The Magnificent Vivillon's Dance Battle!!" and aired on November 7 in Japan. Thanks to YouTube uploader LoveHDPokemonTV5, we can now view the episode with English subtitles.
