Dough Huthinson, 54, actor, and Courtney Stodden, 19, country singer finally split.gThe two became controversial when back in 2011 they got married, the bride was only 16-years-old back then, and her husband is 35 years her senior.
Their representative disclosed, "Courtney and Doug have announced they will become legally separate." The source also told PEOPLE, "They live in separate bedrooms in the same home for now."

The turning point according to Courtney Stodden, was when she left Doug to appear whshe lefst Doug to appear on the British version of the big brother.

"I want to have fun be crazy be a young girl you know, make mistakes, learn from them."

The decision by the young country singer may have been seen as selfish for some to which she responded, "You know what I think I deserve to be selfish."

According to the pair, "(they) will continue to being the best of friends for life."

Courtney and Dough still live in same house in different bed rooms, ex-husband to remain involved and will co-manage her career.
