Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Release Date: Rumored New Phablet To Have 16MP Camera W/ OIS & Long Distance Wireless Charging

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release date, which many speculated to arrive by 3Q of 2014 is already speculated to have a 16MP camera, which the South Korean tech giant and Sony is fighting to become a supplier for. According to Korean media, the 16MP camera sensor will soon find its way into all of Samsung’s premium phones next year, Phone Arena reports.

In what could be another new feature for the phablet, TechCrunch earlier reported that the phablet could come with wireless charging using magnetic resonance technology. ET News cited that electronics manufacturer may have the technology available by mid-2014 with the Samsung Note 4 to be the first Samsung device to have such a capability.

The Korean publication that cited Samsung is working on providing a 16MP camera for the Note 4 said also claims that the company has already ordered 181 million optically stabilized 16 MP modules.

If the rumors are true that the Note 4 will have a 16MP camera, it will be the first Android-phone to break the usual 13MP camera sensor in most handsets with the OS.

Aside from enhanced camera sensor, a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 fan site predicts that the upcoming phablet will also have advanced multitasking ability and data handling and a 64GB expandable memory.

As the analyses and predictions for the new device are still early before their expected release date, no price has been pinpointed on the matter.
