The Kings fell 105-100 to Atlanta on Tuesday and again had issues sustaining their effort on defense, allowing a combined 57 points in the second and third quarters. They trailed by as many as 19 in the third, according to ESPN.

"The defense isn't where it should be obviously right now, and we continue to dig ourselves in big holes," coach Mike Malone said. "Every time you do that you have to fight out of it and that takes a lot when you're 19 points down."
