Dwight Howard UFC: Houston Rockets Star Player Changing Careers; Would Like To Fight In The Octagon And Get Bloody Than Shoot Free Throws

NBA star Dwight Howard rumored for a stint in the UFC after talking to the MMA league president Dana White that he would fight for a price of $10 million.

The Houston Rockets player Howard together with Chandler Parsons watched a UFC event in Houston where the star player told the mixed martial arts president his intentions for a fight in the octagon as long as they agree with the price.

"I would get up there and fight. If I get knocked out, I get knocked out," Howard said. "I'll get back up one day."

"I want to do that pay-per-view when you're ready, man," White said in reply to the NBA player.

Howard's teammate on the other hand said he wouldn't want to fight in a match after Dwight asked him if he would join him.

"Bro, I would literally die," Parsons said. "They would rip my head off."

Meanwhile, the Houston Rockets are now 4-2 coming into the new season where they fell short to the Lakers with a score of 99-98 after a Steve Blake game winning three last Thursday.

The return of Howard in LA which greeted him with boos for leaving the city of Angels for Houston.

The player who is notoriously poor in free throws made 5 out of 16 (31%) charity shots in the game after Lakers head coach Mike D'Antoni pulled a "Hack-A-Howard" defensive play to take advantage of the player's poor shooting behind the line.

The star center, who played for the Lakers last year after leaving Orlando, is currently averaging 17 points per game and 14.5 rebounds in six games.

He is playing averaging better now than last year's after suffering a shoulder injury that has been bothering him the whole season. The 6' 11" player however still manages to average a double-double in points and rebounds.
