Kat Von D is getting a fat lip on Twitter. The reality TV star who  is most famous for tattooing Miley Cyrus released a new, nude lipstick as part of her Painted Love cosmetic line. Kat Von D's new lipstick is called Celebutard and Down syndrome advocates took to Twitter to voice their offense.

Sephora and Amazon stopped selling it Kat Von D's new Celebutard lipstick after the backlash. Sephora issued an apology. Kat Von D isn't apologetic, she tweeted and then deleted the post "At the end of the day, it's just a f---ing lipstick."

Reactions to Kat Von D's Celebutard lipstick exploded on Twitter after the name was announced:

Kat Von D wasn't expecting the backlash that is getting Celubutard  pulled from stores and online shopping. Kat Von D's Painted Love cosmetic line is supposed to be fun. Her products have such names as Hellbent, Backstage Bambi and Underage Red.

Sephora issued a statement saying "It has come to our attention that the name of one shade of lipstick we carry has caused offense to some of our clients and others. We are deeply sorry for that."

Kat Von D took to Twitter to say "That name was inspired by the silliness of people who become famous for no reason outside attention seeking behavior. I think it's a funny, lighthearted stab at how silly people can be. (Both the celebrity and those who subscribe to them)."
