Mac Pro Release Date: Specs Of Apple’s Next Gen Workstation Include 3.7GHz Quad-Core Xeon Processor, 12GB DRAM, 256GB SSD, Starts At $2,999, Coming December

Mac Pro release date for the year 2013: The next-generation work station of Apple already had a public outing twice this year and is probably the last in the list of Apple product line that has yet to be released. During it’s announcements of the new iPads and MacBook Pros, the company noted that the U.S.-made work station will hit the stores by December of this year. The starting price for the Mac Pro is $2,999.

The new Mac Pro will have a 12-core Intel Xeon processor, PCI-Express based flash storage, dual AMD FirePro GPUs, and the ability to connect three 4K resolution monitors. Aside from all this, the port selection options for the Mac Pro include Thunderbolt 2, USB 3.0, HDMI 1.4 and a set of Gigabit Ethernet connectors. The work station will also have wireless connectivity that comes in either 802.11ac and Blueetooth 4.0.

In a report by Digital Trends, it noted that the new Mac Pro will be powered by a 3.7GHz quad-core Xeon processor, 12 GB of DRAM, dual FirePro D300 GPUs with 2GB of VRAM each and a 256GB SSD.

In a recent re-introduction of the Mac Pro, they showed a video of the machine being manufactured in the U.S. Apple has committed itself to ensuring that the high-end MacPro is manufactured in the U.S.A to help augment the tech manufacturing sphere.

In an earlier report last month, Flextronics - the manufacturer of the MacPro for Apple - is expected to hire 1,700 more workers to produce the machine in their Texas campus.
