Late last week, Archos launched one of the upcoming Android tablets for 2013 before it ends.

The Archos 101 XS 2 slate is a high-end devices with a price of a midranger - perfect for those looking for a cheaper alternative without compromising the device's power. 

Measuring 10.1 inches, its display has 1280x800 pixel resolution which is perfect for video playback, watching movies and playing HD games from the Play Store. 

In addition to the stunning screen, the 101 XS 2 also sports a quad-core Cortex A9 CPU clocked at 1.6Ghz, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory with microSD support to store large sums of files, apps, and movies. 

The Archos slate has two cameras, one at the front and one at the back, and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box.
