Super Smash Bros 4: Marth, Male Wii Fit Trainer To Join Roster? Pikachu And Toon Link Featured In 3DS Screenshot!

As Super Smash Bros. 4 for the Wii U and 3DS looms closer, more roster updates have surfaced.

Firstly, it has been confirmed that Marth of Fire Emblem will join the Super Smash Bros. 4 roster for the Wii U and 3DS. Returning from Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Marth is the 18th character to be confirmed for the roster.

And although fans will not doubt be relieved to see the return of a fan favorite, some fans are curious that more new additions have not been announced.

As Super Smash Bros. 4 fans know, the Wii U and 3DS release will include new characters including the Farmer from Animal Crossing and Wii Fit Trainer, and it seems that more revelations remain for these roster additions.

In a recent screenshot posted by producer Masahiro Sakurai, a Male Wii Fit Trainer can be seen next to the Female Wii Fit Trainer.

"Pic of the day. The trial version of Wii Fit U is available now! We'd like to share this pic to commemorate the occasion," writes Sakurai on his MiiVerse feed.

However, the Male Wii Fit Trainer has not been confirmed as a new character, so it is possible this is an alternate skin or costume for the Wii Fit Trainer.

And lastly, a screenshot featuring Toon Link and Pikachu has appeared online, but this time from the 3DS version of Super Smash Bros. 4.

As fans know, Wii U screenshots have predominantly been featured in media outlets, so this is a rare treat.
