Sherlock Season 3 Spoilers: Two-Year Time Jump And Terrorist Plot In Premiere, Scoring For 'His Last Vow' Begins!

As "Sherlock" season 3 looms ever closer, spoilers have surfaced regarding the premiere and the season finale.

Firstly, an early screening of the "Sherlock" season 3 premiere, "The Empty Hearse," has released a brief synopsis which contain several spoilers for the BBC hit series.

"'Just one more miracle, Sherlock. Stop being dead.' For Dr John Watson it might well be a case of 'be careful what you wish for,'" says the official description of the "Sherlock" screening event.

"Two years after the devastating events of 'The Reichenbach Fall', John appears to have got on with his life. New horizons and romance beckon. But, with London under threat of a devastating terrorist attack, Sherlock is about to take John at his word, staging his resurrection with all the theatricality that comes so naturally to him. If Sherlock thinks everything will be just as he left it, though, he's in for a very big surprise..."

From this synopsis, we know that "Sherlock" season 3 will jump forward in time two years, and will deal with a terrorist plot. Will this terrorism plot be what brings Sherlock out of hiding?

In a series of tweets today, it has been confirmed that scoring is still being done for "Sherlock" season 3 episode 3, "His Last Vow."
