Rebecca Romijn showed off her new bob haircut right after celebrating her 41st birthday on Wednesday, E! News reports.

The "X-Men: First Class" actress has joined other Hollywood stars who have recently chopped off their locks, including Jennifer Aniston, Natalie Portman and Pamela Anderson.

Jennifer Lawrence was also recently making headlines for her new chopped haircut. Jennifer Lawrence plays Mystique in the new "X-Men" films, following in the footsteps of Romijn. Maybe Rebecca was inspired by her young protege!

The blonde bombshell looked amazing with her new look, and rocked a bright red dress and matching red lipstick to the event.

According to E! News, Romijn's haircut isn't as edgy as Aniston's "un-precious" style, but appears to be closer to Natalie Portman's sleek hairstyle, just a bit shorter.

E! News reports that it's been almost seven years since Rebecca has rocked a chin-length look. Perhaps she wanted a change after her birthday.

The 41-year-old mom-of-two also discussed her ex-husband John Stamos at the event, The Huffington Post reports. It sounds like Rebecca and John don't keep in contact.

Rebecca told Us Magazine, "I have no idea what is going on with him these days."

Rebecca married actor Jerry O'Connell in July 2007 and had two twin daughters, Dolly and Charlie, with O'Connell in December 2008.

"I am done having kids," she told Us Weekly. "Two was always the goal, and we got that and here we are."

"They are very good friends," Romijn said of her daughters. "They are each other's best play dates. They keep each other such great company and they play so well but they also fight and it turns on a dime. I'm constantly admiring them and then breaking up fights but they are each other's best company."
