Derrick Rose Injury: Bulls Point Guard Left Game Against Cleveland With Hamstring Injuries, Can He Still Be An Explosive Player?

Derrick Rose sit the rest of the game after now having a hamstring injury late in the fourth in their game against the Cleveland Cavaliers where his team Chicago Bulls won 96-81.

"It's just a minor sprain," Rose said after the game. "Nothing serious. Hopefully I'll be better in a couple of days, but it's nothing big at all."

The 2011 MVP remembered how he got the injury in the last plays where he drove the ball to the basket.

"I remember coming down the court. Really didn't feel it until after I came down and went back to the bench and [the training staff] was asking me about it. Then coming back in, it was a play where somebody knocked the ball out of bounds or something like that, and they said I wasn't moving good enough to be out on the court so they came and subbed me out."

Rose's teammate Carlos Boozer felt bad for his teammate for all the hard work he has been going through he comes back with another injury. He said that good thing this injury isn't that serious.

"He works his butt off every day. Whether it's rehab, lifting, shooting, whatever it is, you guys see him out there. He puts the time in, so I feel bad for him, but hopefully whatever he's got going on right now isn't that bad, we hope the severity of it isn't that bad," Boozer said.

On the other hand, talking about their win, Mike Dunleavy of the Bulls said what they did was perfect to stop the Cavs.

''We had some chances to break it open, early on, each quarter,'' Dunleavy said. ''They just hung in there. Fortunately in the fourth, we were able to pull away.''

Meanwhile, Cleveland Coach Mike Brown said that the reason they lost is that the Bulls knew how to stop them, which they did.

''When we hit adversity tonight we didn't handle it well,'' Cleveland coach Mike Brown said. ''They took us out of what we wanted to do.''
