Apple announced the iPhone 5s and 5c more than two months ago, and yet supplies for the more expensive one have been tight to say the least. But for people who are asking for the iPhone 5s gold availability, they may finally be able to get their hands on the device a few weeks earlier. 

In a report by Gotta Be Mobile, it appeared that the supplies for Apple's iPhone 5s, especially the gold edition, have improved for the first time since it was announced in September. Now, consumers can order from Apple's website and expect the shipment to arrive in 1 or 2 weeks. 

The improvement just means fewer people are rushing to get the latest iPhone, allowing Apple to replenish supplies much faster than in the succeeding months immediately after the announcement. 

While some analysts and consumers criticized the device's 'lack of new features', fans from all over the world still flocked retail outlets just to get the iPhone 5s before anyone else does. 

Meanwhile, the 'colorful' iPhone 5s has not gotten much attention, and reports last month say that Apple has halved the production for the handdset due to poor sales.
