House Of Cards Cast Celebrates Season 2 Filming Completion On Twitter: Will Netflix Series Premiere In February Like Season 1?

Netflix hit series "House of Cards" has officially wrapped filming for season 2, and the cast are celebrating months of hard word on Twitter!

Last week, "House of Cards" season 2 finished filming with its cast, and Michael Kelly (Stamper) and Sakina Jaffrey (Linda Vasquez) are a few of the cast members who used Twitter to commemorate the occasion.

Along the same lines, "House of Cards" executive producer Beau Willimon also used Twitter to thank Netflix and the cast and crew.

And while filming is wrapped, post-production work for "House of Cards" season 2 will likely continue in the coming months, and many fans are wondering whether the series will be able to premiere in February, exactly one year after the debut of season 1.

Of course, with no confirmation on a premiere date, "House of Cards" season 2 would debut later than February as well.

Netflix hit series "House of Cards" may still be awaiting its season 2 release date, but the streaming service's Chief Content Officer is already promising season 3.

According to Deadline, a recent keynote by Ted Sarandos signals that beyond "House of Cards" season 2, Netflix has full intention to move forward with the series without too much consideration in terms of viewership.

"Our intent is that the show keeps going for sure," says Sarandos. "It was a 26-episode commitment. It was not our intent that it just run for two seasons."

"Talks are in progress right now."
