Courtney Stodden’s breakup with her much-older husband Doug Hutchison is taking some stranger turns. The couple will continue living together as they bang up what the press is calling a “bizarre separation agreement,

Courtney Stodden, 19, and Doug Hutchison, 53, filed court papers for legal separation. Cervantes Entertainment Law, the couple’s entertainment lawyers released a statement saying their agreement stipulates that Stodden and Hutchison will “live separate and apart” like they never got married. But they’ll live separately under the same roof. The agreement says “For the time being, both Courtney and Doug will remain living together at their residence in separate rooms and continue to support on another as friends and business partners.”

Hutchison will also continue to "comanage her career."

There’s nothing about divorce in the agreement.

One of Courtney Stodden’s reps said that Stodden is looking forward to life as "an unmarried single young adult."

Doug Hutchison recently talked to E! News about the impending divorce from 19-year-old Courtney Stodden. He doesn’t think the couple will reconcile. Asked whether he thought Courtney Stodden might take him back he said "No, not really. I'm not banking on that at all. Life is incredibly unpredictable. I mean, look what we're going through now. "When I took those vows with her, when we got married, I took them to heart, through better or worse, richer or poorer, sickness or health. And you know what? Divorce doesn't change that."

The star of Lost and The Green Mile said he was surprised by the breakup. He said "It kind of hit me from left field at first. I'll be honest, I really had hoped in my heart that Court and I, like, against all odds, could go the distance."

But he still thinks Courtney Stodden is his soul mate, saying "That will never, ever change. That will remain consistent until the day I die."
