Nexus 5 Release Date: 3 Things That Will Annoy You While Using Google's Latest 'Hero' Phone

Even after its launch, the Nexus 5 release date seems a bit vague right now due to sold out stocks. In most tech blogs, the new Google phone is said to be the 'must-have device for every Android phone' thanks to its powerful chipset, simplistic design, and of course Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.

However, the praise and compliment it has been getting does not mean it doesn't have its faults. In several tech blogs and forums, several Nexus 5 owners have pointed out three notorious issues which could annoy even the most patient Android fan.

1. Bad camera software - In a report by BGR, camera software seems a bit off in the Nexus 5. It reportedly performs sub-par especially in low-light conditions. Features such as zoom, auto-focus and video recording obviously could be better. In fact, a developer has recently released a patch to fix these issues, though you have to root and unlock the bootloader of your device first.

2. Below average audio quality in phone calls - Whether this is a network issue or not, we don't know but a number of Nexus 5 owners have raised the issue regarding audio quality when making calls. A future fix may solve this, but for now it would soon annoy users.

3. Poor battery life - Like most smartphones, the Nexus 5 fails to deliver lightning-fast performance without sacrificing battery juice. According to BGR, there have been some reports which claim varying charging times for the Nexus 5. We still don't know if this is an issue that only affects a small portion of the Nexus 5 stocks, but we'll keep you posted.

Even the most powerful smartphones have their flaws, and hopefully Google cooks up a patch fix quickly to address these issues.
