‘SimCity: Cities of Tomorrow’ Expansion Already Out; Create ‘MegaTowers' And Choose Between ‘Green And Greed’

SimCity: Cities of Tomorrow expansion is now out in the market.

On November 12, Tuesday, Maxis delivered its promise as it released the very first expansion pack for SimCity, called Cities of Tomorrow.

SimCity: Cities Of Tomorrow expansion is now available as digital download in the US, according to Segment Next.

Moreover, this latest addition to game, the SimCity: Cities of Tomorrow expansion, gives the players a "chance to upgrade their cities with new technologies and experimental urban planning techniques as they take them 50 years into the future," as posted on Inside Mac Games.

SimCity: Cities of Tomorrow expansion also enables the players to build futuristic buildings, skyscrapers and cityscapes as they choose between 'green' and 'greed'. One of the features of SimCity: Cities of Tomorrow is Corporate Consumerism vs. Green Utopian, where players can unlock two new city specializations, allowing them to "build a resource-hungry mega corporation powered by a low-wealth workforce, or an urban utopia that develops clean technology and is controlled by the rich."

Below are other features found on SimCity: Cities of Tomorrow expansion, as posted on Inside Mac Games site:

Build into the Sky-Create towering multi-zone MegaTowers that allow your Sims to live, work, and play without ever having to touch the ground.

Transform Tomorrow-Watch your city transform as it adapts to the changing times, with new options based on real-world technology such as Mag Levs that rise above the city streets and small buildings, futurized vehicles, and service drones.

New Disaster-Brace yourself for an all-new type of disaster only fitting a technologically-advanced economy: a giant robot attack on your city!

SimCity: Cities of Tomorrow expansion is both available for PC and Mac, and it can be downloaded through Origin, EA's digital distribution service.  It is also available on various retail stores in the US.
