This November, "A World of Kepling" and "Iron Brigade" are the two free games for Xbox Live Gold members.

A World of Kepling became one of the free games for Xbox Live Gold members starting in the first day of November. But today, November 16, it will be replaced by another offering for this month, "Iron Brigade."

Iron Brigade is a hybrid tower defense and third-person shooter gamer released in 2011. Accordingly, it is developed by Double Fine Productions and published by Microsoft Studios as an Xbox 360 title. According to its Wikipedia page, "The player controls units from "The Mobile Trench Brigade" to fight off robotic species called the Monovision." Furthermore, "The player controls giant mecha-style robots with weapon and armor customization through a variety of missions set across the world."

As for more news regarding free games for Xbox Live Gold members, Microsoft just announced that select Xbox One games will be given for free on a monthly basis beginning in 2014, as posted on Joystiq. However, Microsoft did not share yet more specific information about the Xbox One expansion for its 'Games With Gold' program. The company noted though that there will be more details coming in 2014.

Games With Gold program was first introduced by Microsoft during the E3 2013. This offering gives two free games for Xbox Live Gold members every month, from those featured on Games on Demand titles and Xbox Live Arcade.  The first game comes every 1st day of the month, and will be replaced with the second free offering on the 16th.

It was initially announced that the offering of two free games for Xbox Live Gold members will run only until December 2013. However, Microsoft earlier announced that the Games With Gold promotion is extended indefinitely.
