Upcoming Android Phones 2014: Huawei Allegedly Developing Ascend P6S, Features 'True Octa-Core' Processor

There have been lots of impressive phones this year, but if you are already looking ahead into the top upcoming Android phones in 2014, then you better check out this one from Huawei.

The Chinese manufacturer has been providing quality smartphones for the past few years, and one of it was the Ascend P6, which was considered one of the slimmest in the market. It looks like Huawei plans on banking on that success and turning it into profit with the rumored development of the Ascend P6S.

According to a report by GSM Arena, the rumored phone will get an octa-core processor, which was mentioned by the company's president Xu Xin Quan through the Chinese blogging platform, Weibo.

Similar to the Ascend P6, the P6S will also get a custom-made octa-core that would provide lightning-fast processing and multi-tasking capabilities.

The report also says that the processor will have 'true octa-core' which means that all eight cores would be able to function simultaneously, unlike that of Samsung, which only allows four.

Pricing and availability are not yet confirmed as of the moment, but we'll make sure to keep you updated in the days and weeks to come.
