‘X-Men Days Of Future Past’ Spoilers – Wolverine Will Act As The X-Men’s Leader? Professor X Switches Roles With Logan As Cast And Crew Reshoot Essential Scenes

The leader of the X-Men is Professor X. Nothing can be as simplified as that. However, amid the chaos of 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' we will see Wolverine taking the reins. Can the berserk ageless warrior pull it off?

Meanwhile, Quebec film commissioner Hans Fraikin has just confirmed that director Bryan Singer and company will return to Montreal to shoot, or re-shoot scenes in the city. From the Montreal Gazette:

"A couple of weeks is a big reshoot."

Does that mean there was a problem? "Not at all. It happens all the time, especially with big pictures."

A report from comicbookmovie.com shares some valuable spoilers that will offer a new perspective for the X-Men. Two eras of mutant warriors fighting for their very survival, their only link is the man who is immune to everything, even the ravages of time.

Some statements from various stars in the movie. Remember that this movie rivals "The Hobbit" when it comes to having a multitude of A-list stars (and dozens of starlets).

We can take some clues and piece them all together.

"There's bad blood because of everything Erik's done to Charles. Obviously Hank is on Charles' side completely." Nicholas Hoult, quoted from comicbookmovie.com. There will be in-fighting among the X-Men First Class team, as Professor X tried to stop Magneto (young editions) from waging war with mankind.

This fight will only be ended by Wolverine from the future. He will act as the voice of reason with full 20-20 hindsight vision.

Another spoiler from sources at comicbookmovie.com: "When Wolverine travels back in time, one of the first thing he and Professor X do is break Magneto out of jail. Central to Wolverine's mission is the need to stop Trask from creating the Sentinels and to stop Jennifer Lawrence's Mystique from doing something that Singer doesn't specify."

Speaking of Trask, casting Peter Dinklage of Game of Thrones fame automatically ignites your hate, but Singer actually justifies his intentions. Still from comicbookmovie.com: "He's actually kind of a peace lover. He sees the advent of the mutants as a way to unite people. There's this moment where he basically explains when modern men came along, it meant extinction for the Neanderthal; now humans are the Neanderthal, so this fight is for our survival as a species."
