In a recent interview, Taylor Swift's performance for the 2013 Victoria's Secret fashion show has been deemed amateur by model Jessica Hart.

"I think what you find is that for a lot of us, we've been working for 14, 15 years; what it takes to make it here comes from experience and confidence and knowing how to be confident with yourself. I think it comes with age. It's definitely the benchmark of all jobs," Hart first explained during the fashion show's after-party at a nightclub.

The 27-year-old model was later asked if the 23-year-old could be considered as one Victoria's Secret angels to which Hart responded, "I think, you know what, God bless her heart. I think she's great. But I don't know, to me, she didn't fit. I don't know if I should say that."

Hart's remarks were easily criticized by fans of the 'I Knew You Were Trouble' singer. Recognizing the impact of what she did, the Australian model took back her criticism and later praised the pop star.

"I adore Taylor Swift, and I was so excited to be with her at the Victoria Secret Fashion Show. What Taylor does on stage is nothing compared to what we do, I could never get up there and do what she does! She is a true rock star and she absolutely killed it the other night," tells Hart to Us Weekly.

She likewise adds that she's a true-blue fan of Taylor Swift, that's why she wouldn't say anything nasty about her: "Her song Pieces was one of my favorite songs, and I own her first ever CD. I can't imagine why I would have said anything bad about her."

Meanwhile, Victoria's Secret chief marketing officer Edward Razek claims that Hart's comments were merely blown out of proportion: "I can tell you that everyone at Victoria's Secret was blown away by Taylor's performance. She could not be more beautiful or talented, that we felt extremely lucky to have her, and that she is welcome back to do the show anytime she wants."
