Chromebook By Acer Boasts 11.6" Screen, 4th Generation Intel Celeron Chip, 8.5 Hours Of Battery Life, 2GB RAM, At Only $199

Acer is known for developing quality laptops and netbooks for the past years, but it is continuously losing traction in different markets across the globe. But just in case you are looking for a new Acer Chromebook, the manufacturer has just released a new model.

Based mostly on the successful Acer Chromebook C720, the new entry-level version is slightly cheaper - $50 less to be exact. Dubbed as the Acer Chromebook C720-2848, the netbook'd display measures 11.6 inches with 1366x768 resolution.

While the earlier version has 4GB of RAM, this one only has two which probably make up for the $50 difference. Meanwhile, the rest of the specifications stay true to the original. That includes a 4th generation Intel Celeron processor clocked at 1.4Ghz, 16GB of flash memory, dual-band 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, one USB 3.0 and 2.0 port each, and HDMI support.

In addition, there is also a VGA cam in front as well as 8.6 hours of battery life, according to Acer.

And to top things of, the Acer Chromebook C720-2848 comes with 100GB of Google Drive Storage and 30 days of Google Play Music All Access trial.

The netbook is already available on Google and Acer's websites.
