Upcoming Android Phones 2013: Xolo Launches Another Droid With 5" Display, Quad-Core Processor Clocked At 1.2Ghz, TV-Out And GLONASS Positioning

Indian phone maker Xolo is known for selling quality devices at affordable rates, and the Xolo Q1000 Opus is no different. If you're on the lookout for upcoming Android phones for 2013 in this area, then you better keep an eye on this one.

A close sibling of the recently launched Q1000, the Q1000 Opus boasts a 5-inch screen with 720p resolution and quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU's clocked at 1.2Ghz each,. A BroadCom chipset is also on-board instead of the MediaTek chipset in the original Q1000. This could mean that Xolo is partnering with BroadCom as well in manufacturing smartphones.

Aside from the specs above, the Q1000 Opus also features HSPA+, Wi-Fi connectivity with Miracast for wireless TV-out, plus GPS and GLONASS positioning. Unfortunately, it does not have dual-SIM support unlike its older sibling.

According to a report by GSM Arena, the Xolo1000 Opus will be available in India by the end of the month. However, pricing has not yet been revealed.
